SCORE chairwoman receives Connecticut Leadership Award

Margo Weitekamp, chair of Southeastern Connecticut SCORE, recently received the 2017 C0nnecticut Leadership Award at the annual SBA Small Business Week ceremony in New Haven. Weitekamp was noted for bringing the southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE to within the top 20 chapters in the country.

SCORE provides free mentoring and small business workshops in conjunction with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The southeastern Connecticut chapter is based in Old Saybrook and conducts sessions along the shoreline up to Norwich and Middletown. For more information, visit sect.score.org.
