DOT plans I-395, Route 32 connector lane closures for tree removal in Montville, Waterford

Montville — The state Department of Transportation on Wednesday announced upcoming lane closures for tree and vegetation removal on Interstate 395 south and the Route 32 connector in Montville and Waterford.

DOT said work will continue Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 26, with lane closures planned on I-395 south from the Moxley Road underpass to the junction of the Route 32 connector. Lane closures will occur between Route 32 and the end of the connector in Waterford and Montville.

DOT advises drivers to maintain safe speeds in the area.

Weather delays or unforeseen conditions could lead to schedule changes, the DOT said.
