HIS SITUATION: With a sixth-grade education, Carl ran a successful handyman business for many years. Recently, major depression began to interfere with his ability to work, which has put him behind in his property taxes, lot fees and utilities. Unless Carl can find a way to make his outstanding payments, he will lose his trailer and become homeless. Carl has applied for disability benefits. His doctors continue to treat his depression.
WHAT TO GIVE: Carl needs $2,400 to avoid losing his trailer and lot. Checks can be made payable to St. Vincent de Paul Place with “Carl Make a Difference” in the memo.
