    The Nutcracker comes to New London

    New London — Eastern Connecticut Ballet's The Nutcracker, featuring stars from New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet,  and a stage transformed to a New London winter seaport in the 1850s, will be performed at the Garde Arts Center Dec. 8 and 9.

    Showtimes are 1:30 and 7 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 1:30 Dec. 9. For ticket information, go to www.gardearts.org.
