    Generosity runs in the family

    Norwich — Bruce Bordeau of Colchester and his family prepared food for a community holiday dinner Tuesday at the Rose City Senior Center in Norwich.

    "This is our Christmas, cooking for these people," Bordeau said. He has been volunteering at the dinner, which was started by his mother, for at least 28 years.

    The family, including their two children, typically starts cooking at 8 a.m. and stays till after 6 p.m. cleaning up.
