Medical staff gather Tuesday for the annual Blessing of the Hands for National Nurses Week in the Wadsworth Healing Garden at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
Chaplains Dinushka De Silva, Dennis Mercieri, Jessica Sommar and Mark Porizky were joined by registered nurse Andrea Walker, singing, for the blessing.
The nurses, doctors and patient care staff gathered in the garden and heard and participated in prayers before the chaplains blessed each pair of hands.
