It’s difficult to get Sarah (our rescue German shepherd from a puppy mill in Arkansas) in a photo with the cats. She never saw one before and is still not quite sure what to do with them. She and Sammy are both intent on the squirrel here. She just loves people.

We rescued Sadie and Sammy from neighboring kennels at Ledyard Animal Control back in 2010. They have always played and curled up like they were siblings. They are incredibly sweet and affectionate cats.
