Let's Go: ‘Crossing’ performed at Lyme Public Hall

A locally produced original musical featuring Braiden Sunshine, “Crossing: A Musical Journey,” will be staged at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Lyme Public Hall.

The musical by Mike Bailey, with songs by Bailey and Ron Gletherow, is based on a true story of love, loss, redemption and how a Scottish father and son reunited in America in the 1800s. It features 18 original songs sung by local actors and musicians including Sunshine, known for his successful appearances on “The Voice.”

Bailey takes on of the major roles and is joined by Julia Helal, Galen Donovan, John Lamar and Mike Johnson. Tickets are $25 for adults, or $10 for students. For more information, go to lymepublichall.org or crossingamusicaljourney.com. The Lyme Public Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road in Lyme.
