Lyme Land Trust opens new preserve

The Lyme Land Trust is opening the new Riverside Preserve with a ceremony at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. State DEEP fisheries biologist Steve Gephard will give a presentation on the impact of the removal of Ed Bill’s Dam on the preserve, which borders the Eightmile River near where the dam was located.

The six-acre preserve is located on Salem Road in Lyme, about a half-mile from Route 156. For more information, visit lymelandtrust.org.
