    Scouts place flags for Veterans Day

    Boy Scout Nathan Jankowski, 15, unfurls a flag placed on Water Street in Mystic as he and fellow scouts from BSA Troop 76 and Pack 200 place flags along East and West Main streets in Mystic Monday, November 11, 2019 for Veterans Day. The scouts are chartered through St. Patrick Church on East Main Street and along with family members place the flags between Broadway on the Stonington side of Mystic and Water Street on the Groton side. The scouts, acting for the Mystic Flag Committee, place flags for Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, and Columbus Day.
