Norwich — Norwich Events Organization has named Lisa Griffin the grand marshal for the Norwich St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival to be held March 1 at 1 p.m. in downtown Norwich.

Griffin is an active member in the Norwich community, having joined Eastern CT Savings Bank in 2004 where she serves as president/CEO. She is secretary and an executive board member of the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce and is chairwoman of the Leadership Development Program. She is a director for the Connecticut Bankers Association, Three Rivers Community College Foundation and Madonna Place.

She continues to serve on the American Savings Foundation Scholarship Committee and was a past president of the New England Financial Marketing Association.

Griffin will be honored at the 2020 St. Pats Gala at 5 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Wauregan Ballroom. Tickets are $50 per person, $80 per couple or $500 for a reserved table, and can be purchased on the Norwich Events Organization Facebook page or on the website GoNorwichCT.com. The event includes dinner and three comics provided by Franco’s Comedy for Your Cause. Proceeds from ticket sales and the event’s Not-So-Silent Auction will benefit the 2020 Norwich St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival, July Fireworks Extravaganza and Winterfest Parade, sponsored by Norwich Events Organization.
