East Lyme — Thursday brought a chill and rain to the region, but should dry up soon.

According to the national Weather Service, the wet weather will hold off through the weekend with Friday and Saturday seeing sunny skies and high temperatures in the 30s.

However, the lows are expected to fall into the teens, or even single digits.
