The North Stonington Educational Foundation held its annual trivia night on Jan. 24 at the Pawcatuck VFW. Eleven teams, donning creative names such as the Walt Quizneys and attire to match, competed for the top prize.

The Italian Stallions, consisting of Michael Costanza, Sal Costanza, Erik Gynther, Keith Gynther, Joe Cherenzia, Tommy Liguori, Tom Dinoto and Cres Secchiaroli, won first prize. Second place went to Tom Hanks, a team whose members all dressed up as characters from movies featuring the actor, earning them the Most Spirited Award. Third place went to The Wingnuts.

The NSEF is also hosting its annual 5K in May and an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt over the summer. For more information, visit nsedfoundation.org.
