Norwich — The city Public Works Department announced Thursday that curbside bulky waste collections will be suspended due to the coronavirus concerns, and residents and business owners are asked not to place items outside trash and recycling bins.

Regular weekly trash and biweekly recycling collections will continue on schedule with automated dumping mechanisms on the trucks. Residents and business owners are asked not to place items outside the bins for collection, as crews will not get out of their vehicles to pick up items.
