Groton Regency recognized National Nurses Month with staff dressing up as superheroes.

“Since this pandemic has begun, our staff have been the true superheroes,” said Nicole Hollis, assistant director of nursing. “From nursing staff, to dietary, to maintenance, to recreation, to housekeeping, to administrative staff, our building has exploded with heroism and superpowers. We have all become our residents family, friends, and social support.”

She said the outfits would add some fun, smiles, and enthusiasm, yet it pales in comparison to the work the staff put in on a daily basis for residents.
