Having a friendly lunch in Stonington
Stonington — Friends Winnie Elenteny of Stonington and Maddy Greenhouse of Clinton had a picnic lunch together Tuesday in front of the Stonington Free Library.
Elenteny said the friends, who haven't seen much of each other because the pandemic, decided to eat a picnic of Domino's Pizza in the nice weather.
Conditions are expected to remain mild Wednesday, with clouds and fog clearing early and sun throughout most of the rest of the day. Temperatures were expected to be in the mid- to high 60s along the shore and as high as 80 inland.
