Mask donations from Rotary, DAR
The Rotary Club of The Stoningtons has donated 400 masks to the Wood River Health Services. The donation of masks was made possible by Dr. Ted Rossi, an East Hampton Rotarian.
Wood River Health Services, a private, nonprofit community health center provides affordable medical, dental and social services to communities in southwestern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut.
Menwhile the Rhode Island Daughters of the American Revolution along with members in North Stonington and Pawcatuck have sewn and donated more than 4,500 masks to medical professionals, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Ashaway Ambulance Corps, Ashaway Fire Department, veterans and military units, a manufacturing facility, community groups and the Rhode Island Veterans Hospital.
