    COVID-19 hospitalizations in Connecticut decrease to 95

    The state reported Friday afternoon that the number of patients across Connecticut hospitalized with COVID-19 has decreased by six, to 95, and that an additional 10,370 tests have been reported compared to the previous day.

    Total confirmed and probable cases increased by 71 to 46,717, and COVID-19-associated deaths increased by nine, bringing the total of people who have died to 4,335, according to statistics from Gov. Ned Lamont's office.

    While Hartford, New Haven and Middlesex counties saw decreases in hospitalizations, New London County saw an increase of two hospitalizations, bringing the total to four. Hospitalizations remained flat compared to the previous day in all other Connecticut counties.

    New London County has seen a total of 1,277 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, with 102 associated deaths.
