East Lyme — Brittany DeSantis of East Lyme, with daughter Baubriella, 3, on her shoulders, was racing daughter Alaina, 8, on Wednesday at the East Lyme High School track.

They often come to the school to ride their bikes and scooters around the campus and walk around the track. DeSantis said its a good spot to be out and about and be able to keep social distancing, since they have found some of the area parks to be crowded.
