Sprinkler days continue in southeastern Connecticut
High temperatures and high humidity continue across the region this week.
Kids participating in the U.K. International Soccer Camp at Poquonnock Plains Park in Groton took a break Tuesday to beat the heat with sprinklers.
A heat advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are forecast to push into the high 80s on Wednesday.
