    Cutter stopover

    The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Lawrence Lawson (WPC 1120) re-fuels at City Pier in New London Monday, Aug. 31, 2020.     New London —The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Lawrence Lawson (WPC 1120) re-fueled at City Pier Monday.

    Lawson, a 154-foot Sentinel-class cutter, was docked at the pier over the weekend while in the area on a fisheries patrol.

    Commissioned in 2017, Lawson is the 20th cutter in the class and is homeported at the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey.
