Three Rivers awards 'healthcare hero' scholarship

The Three Rivers College Foundation has announced the award of the William A. Stanley Scholarship to pre-nursing student Brittany Leggett. The one-time scholarship, in honor of recently retired Lawrence + Memorial Hospital vice president Bill Stanley, was created to recognize a “healthcare hero” and confers full tuition for the spring 2021 semester.

Leggett is a practicing paramedic with American Ambulance and was selected for her “determination and perseverence under challenging circumstances” amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
