    Mystic River Chorale appoints new artistic director

    The Mystic River Chorale has named Frank R. Zilinyi as its new artistic director. Zilinyi, who previously served as the chorale's associate artistic director and accompanist, will follow Frank Martignetti, who has stepped down after 13 seasons.

    Zilinyi joined the chorale in 2016 as an accompanist. He is also the organist and music director at St. Mary's Church in Milford and teaches music theory at the University of Bridgeport. His inaugural concert with the chorale will be held in January 2022.

    Chelsea Groton Bank announces promotions

    Chelsea Groton Bank has announced the promotions of more than a dozen local employees. In a release, President and CEO Michael Rauh said “each of the employees earning a promotion exhibits the traits and behaviors we value: innovative, collaborative, trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable, versatile and positive.”

    Lisa Fields of Griswold was named assistant treasurer. An employee since 1999, she has coordinated activities for the bank’s property manager and facilities staff and as a purchasing manager.

    Kelly Meakem of Oakdale was named assistant vice president. An employee since 2008, she has worked a cash management and business banking specialist, most recently serving as an operations manager.

    Sara Lundy of Oakdale was named compliance manager and assistant treasurer. An employee since 2016, she has worked as a risk and compliance specialist and an assistant secretary.

    Marielle Winkelman of Ledyard was named assistant treasurer. An employee since 2014, she worked on the bank’s PPP team and served as a customer solutions manager.

    Alysha Yepes of Ledyard was named assistant treasurer. An employee since 2016, she has developed relationships with new and current business and consumer customers.

    Carleen Lee of New London was named assistant treasurer. An employee since 1988, she has managed the New London branch and served as a customer solutions manager.

    Larry Walker of Salem was named director of technology and first vice president. An employee since 1992, he was recognized for his virtualization work supporting remote bank operations.

    Kristen Scott of East Lyme was named assistant treasurer. An employee since 2005, she has worked on the PPP team and in the bank’s education program for community members.

    Nancy Murphy of Mystic was named data governance manager and vice president. An employee since 1998, she has worked in the loan servicing and business intelligence departments.

    Sonya Manley of Mystic was named senior learning and development specialist and assistant treasurer. An employee since 2005, she conducted virtual training for new and current employees.

    Alexis Kahn of North Stonington was named vice president. An employee since 2017, she has worked with customers in supporting their growing businesses and changing needs.

    Jennifer Seuferling of North Stonington was named assistant treasurer. She worked on the bank’s PPP team and assisted with residential mortgage services.

    Richard Turner of Stonington was named assistant vice president. An employee since 2011, he has worked with families throughout the region to meet their mortgage needs.

    Renee Simao of Stonington was named assistant treasurer. An employee since 2019, she has built business relationships with new and existing customers within the bank.

    Rebecca Magner of Pawcatuck was named assistant treasurer. She worked on the bank’s Paycheck Protection Program team to help businesses secure loans during the coronavirus pandemic.
