The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT Foundation is offering scholarships for high school seniors in the region.

Students who are planning to attend college or a technical, vocational or apprenticeship program are eligible to apply by the May 15 deadline. Applications are available at ChamberECT.com/foundation.

This spring, the foundation's board of directors will select four scholarship recipients based on a variety of criteria, including academic persistence, community involvement, career interest and financial need. Each recipient will receive a check of $1,250 to be applied toward their chosen college or vocational program.
