New London — Mecky Kuijpers and her two Borzoi, Pjotr and Fiona, were having a snack and a drink Friday while waiting for the Fishers Island Ferry after a stop at Muddy Waters in New London.
Kuijpers, who lives most of the year on the island, says the dogs are the only ones of their breed on the island and are really well known.
