New London — The New London Police Union, AFSCME Local 724, will begin a fundraiser this month with all donations returned directly back to the community, supporting local businesses, civic organizations and charities.

TCI America will conduct the union's annual fundraiser beginning on Friday and continuing for four to six weeks. TCI America is the national leader in police and firefighter fundraising, and has been fundraising for over 30 years.

Authorized TCI employees will be making calls on behalf of the police union. Any businesses or residents with questions or concerns about the fundraiser requests should notify Dustin Adkins, Local 724 secretary, at dadkins@newlondonct.org.
