Salem Road Race detours announced
Salem — The Salem Lions Club 28th Annual Salem 5K Road Race will affect traffic on Saturday, Sept. 18, starting around 9:45 a.m.
The Lions Club said southbound traffic on Route 85 will be diverted onto Round Hill Road. Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Hagen Road. There will be one-lane alternating traffic on Route 82 at the intersections of Clark Lane and Music Vale Road, organizers said.
The disruption is expected to last about an hour, or until the last participant finishes. The 5K race will begin at 10 a.m. and end at the same location just north of the Salem Free Public Library on Route 85.
A one-mile fun run/walk will take place on Morgan Road at 9 a.m.
