Mystic — Heather Bennett, a volunteer with the Mystic Fire Department's B.F. Hoxie Engine Company, was playing with her dog Crew, a year-and-a-half-old mini cattle dog, on the apron Tuesday at the firehouse on Broadway Avenue.
Fellow volunteer Nick Hand also took turns playing fetch with Crew.
