What would you like us to ask candidates for mayor of Norwich?

The Day is seeking input from Norwich residents and business owners as we prepare for an Oct. 20 debate between the Republican incumbent mayor of Norwich, Peter Nystrom, and Democratic challenger Mark Bettencourt.

The debate begins at 1 p.m. and will be livestreamed on www.theday.com and on Facebook and will be available later on demand.

We'd like to hear from city residents about which issues are most important for us to cover during the debate. If you have questions for the candidates please email them to Claire Bessette at c.bessette@theday.com and put MAYOR in the subject line.
