    The full, or nearly full, Hunters Moon rises Tuesday over Ledge Light at the mouth of New London Harbor.

     The Hunter's Moon is the full moon after the Harvest Moon, which is the first full moon of fall, or the last full moon of summer.

    October's full moon – the Northern Hemisphere's Hunter's Moon – will be 100% lit on October 20 at 12:56 a.m. on Wednesday.
