Waterford students serenade veterans with patriotic songs

Waterford — The Great Neck Choir, from Great Neck School, performed a selection of patriotic songs for military veterans gathered Tuesday at Filomena's Restaurant for the annual Veterans Coffeehouse.
The choir comprises 36 fourth and fifth grade students under the direction of music teacher Celeste Milukas. The group was performing for the first time in two years due to COVID-19 precautions.
Students from the school also assembled 60 gift bags for the veterans, containing snacks, and handwritten cards to be handed out at the event.
