The New England Music Hall of Fame (NEMHOF) will host the event "The United Gathering" on Saturday, Nov. 27. The concert and induction ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 15 Pearl St., Mystic.

The objective for the event is to support Native American Heritage Month by uniting people harmoniously through music, in conjunction with having a food drive to help those in need for the holiday season.

The master of ceremonies for that evening will be filmmaker Christopher Annino. Special guest presenters will include pro wrestler Angel Orsini and fitness model Joy Nash.

Emmy Award-winning Connecticut composer Brian Keane, Grammy-nominated Native American artist and former Winsted resident Joseph Firecrow and engineer Ken Dutton will be inducted.

They will be joining blues legends Muddy Waters, James Cotton and Grammy Award-winning Paula Cole in this year's New England Music Hall of Fame Class. The New England Music Hall of Fame was founded in 2019. Its mission is to "educate, unite, promote, and preserve the integrity of the New England music scene."

Also performing is the New England Music Hall of Fame All Star Band, which features Native American artist Steve Daggett. Bring a nonperishable item or canned good.
