Poetry in a Pandemic: Being Thankful
Thankful for Life, Freedom and Humanity,
Thankful for acceptance, tolerance,
Endurance and serenity,
Thankful for our loved ones in our lives,
Thankful for the tough days
We overcome and survive,
Thankful for our true friendships,
For being there through all the hardship,
Thankful for getting up and looking
Forward to another beautiful day,
And giving it our best all the way,
Thankful for our stunning nature,
For the beautiful, colorful
And intriguing creations,
Thankful for our teachers
And everyone who play the role of a teacher,
For looking forward to adventures,
Better opportunities and a
Brighter future together,
Thankful for our Nurses and Doctors,
Who set the bar high!
Who motivate and inspire!
Who go above and beyond to Save Lives!
Thankful for all the essential
Hard working men and women,
For keeping us safe, prepared
And set every day,
Thankful for the love, kindness and
Compassion for one another,
A reminder that we can make
Impossible possible by working together!
Thankful for our Differences!
Our differences is what makes
Us unique, learn, grow and evolve!
There is so much to be thankful for!
Especially the Years of 2020 & 2021,
By Far!
