East Lyme — Chloe Shelton, 9, of Wolcott and her sister, Casey, 8, found a friend in Eleanora Mokler, 3, of New London, at McCook Point Park on Saturday in Niantic.
The Shelton sisters were at the park with their father, Jared, while in town visiting family and Eleanora was at the park with her parents, Erin and Sean, after visiting the Silver Skate Christmas Shop in town to look at holiday decorations.
The three children had never met before, but Jared said his girls love younger kids and wanted to play with Eleanora.
