The situation: Tina is transitioning from a supportive to an independent living situation and is determined to find success raising her twin babies on her own.
What to give: Basics for setting up a house, including bedding, kitchenware, cleaning supplies and clothes for her growing twins, a boy and a girl, who currently wear size 2T. Baby hygiene items and shoes (girls size 8 and boys size 9) also are needed. Gift cards to department stores and cash for household expenses, including utilities, are especially helpful.
To donate: Donations can be mailed to or dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at at The Riverfront Children’s Center, 476 Thames St., Groton, CT (860) 445-8151.
