D.M. Foley, a local newly published author, has been recognized by The New York Best Sellers Award with The Gold Award for December 2021. This award is considered the most prestigious award given by The New York Best Sellers Awards.

According to the website The New York Best Sellers Awards, the awards were created to recognize literary works published by authors regardless of how they published. Authors are nominated or can submit their own work whether they are self published or traditional published worldwide. D.M. Foley is an independently published author who published her first novel “The Lyons Garden Book One: Family Ties” in September 2021.

The criteria used to decide the winners of this award are total sales, number of nominations, content, and popular vote. D.M. Foley is currently working on her second novel in “The Lyons Garden” series. Her first book is available through Amazon, Kindle Unlimited, Barnes & Nobles online, Books A Million online, and Indiebound online.
