    Scuba diving in January

Josh Torres, of Glastonbury, wades into the water off DuBois Beach in Stonington as he prepares for a scuba dive on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022. He said the dive was his first of the year. “When it´s 50 degrees out in January I have to find time to get a dive in." Torres has been diving for about 10 years but said in the last year, as a reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, he dived more than ever before and started learning more technical dives. “It became a reason to leave the house, and a good one."
