Friends try their luck at hunting ducks by boat in Old Lyme

Old Lyme — Mark Denerges of Canterbury and a friend decided to go hunting for ducks and geese Thursday from the friend's boat, heading out from the Lieutenant River Boat Launch.

"We'll see what's out there today," Denerges said.

He said the warmer weather is nice but they actually have more luck when there's more ice on the river.
