    Let's Go: Virtual program on writing children’s books

    Do you love children’s books? Would you like to know more about writing and publishing your own?

    Bill Memorial Library is hosting a Zoom program with local children’s author Winsome Bingham on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m. Bingham is a teacher by trade, an author by choice, and a U.S. Army war and disabled veteran by circumstance.

    Her first children’s book, “Soul Food Sunday” (Abrams Books, 2021), is listed among The New York Times’ 25 Best Children’s Books of 2021. An editor and author for Reycraft Books in New York City, Bingham holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and an MFA in writing for children and young adults.

    “Soul Food Sunday” is her first book with more titles releasing soon. You can find her at binghamwrites.com.
