Waterford — Twins Ava and Madison Jones join their friend Jackson Dolcine, all 6, and their parents in learning how to play tennis Wednesday at Waterford Beach Park.

The two families were in town for the week from New York for the kids' school break. "We had to come out and enjoy the sunshine," said the twins' mother, Jada Jones.

It was one of the first times the kids had played tennis and they were planning to eat ice cream afterward.
