    Let's Go: Leffingwell House Museum opens season

    The Leffingwell House Museum will celebrate its season opening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.

    Brown’s Company of Artillery will start the season off with a bang, with Olde Lebanon Towne Militia presenting colonial living history and chocolate by chocolatier Robert Lecce. The flask of Civil War General Birge will be on view, as well as a collection of 1800s kitchen gadgets and portraits of John Durkee, Capt. John Coit and the Rev. John Tyler.

    These and other items will be on display for Opening Day. Tours of the museum are $8 per person, children 5 and under free. The last tour starts at 2 p.m.
