The Ledyard Community Relations Committee will host an informational forum at 6 p.m on Monday, April 11 at the Parks & Recreation and Ledyard Senior Center Building at 12 Van Tassel Drive in Gales Ferry for people wanting to learn more about Parks & Recreation programs and opportunities for using town facilities.

Parks & Recreation Department programs include youth and adult activities, summer camp, visiting parks, town sponsored youth leagues and other special events.

Weddings, baby showers or anniversary parties can be arranged by renting the pavilion or the Gales Ferry Community Center. The community info center will discuss all these possibilities.

Also, information will be available to assist Ledyard Social Services clients with full and partial scholarships for Ledyard Parks & Recreation Summer Camp and other recreational activities.
