    Groton Parks & Recreation announces youth meal program, open house

    Groton -- Groton Parks & Recreation has announced it is partnering with Groton Public Schools and Thrive55+ Active Living Center to offer free dinners to youths 18 years and under from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. weekdays at the Groton Community Center. The community center is at 61 Fort Hill Road.

    In addition, Groton Parks & Recreation will host an open house at the Groton Community Center from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday for people to meet Sheila Perry, the new drop-in program director for the Groton Community Center, and learn about "upcoming after school programs, sports clinics, arts & crafts activities, and the free Community Meals Program."
