Let's Go: Earthfest CT 2022 to be held at McCook Point Park
Earthfest CT 2022 will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the scenic McCook Point Park, in the village of Niantic, overlooking the Niantic Bay. The festival will feature music, family fun and hands-on environmental activities for kids of all ages. Admission is free and there will be food trucks present throughout the day.
Visitors who attend the event will be treated to music from Steve Songs of PBS Kids fame (SteveSongs.com), Grammy-nominated Judy Pancoast (JudyPancoast.com) and the Rainbow-haired Jill Kubeck, who will also serve as emcee. Look for the schedule on the Earthfest CT event page on Facebook.
There will also be live animal demonstrations with the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, a touch tank with Dominion’s Environmental Lab, as well as activities with Niantic Children’s Museum, CT Audubon, Coogan Farm Giving Garden, Sierra Club CT, Sustainable CT, Alewife Cove Conservancy, Niantic River Watershed Committee, Friends of the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve, Soroptimist CT Shoreline, Pollinator Pathways, CT Land Conservation Council, and more.
