    Families meet police comfort, therapy and service dogs

    Groton — It was puppy love at the Cops and Comfort Dogs meet and greet Saturday at the Thrive55+ Active Living Center, 102 Newtown Road.

    The event, hosted by the Town of Groton Police Department, highlighted nearly 30 police comfort, therapy and service dogs from across New England. Some of the dogs performed tricks while others just relished in all the attention.
