Friends & Neighbors: Shellfish commission names new boat

The Waterford East Lyme Shellfish Commission has named WELSCO’s warden’s boat the Patrick J. Kelly.

Pat has been a volunteer member of the commission for a remarkable 47 years. During that time he has served in all elected capacities including chairman, vice chairman and treasurer, his current position. The warden’s boat patrols all the open shellfishing areas in both Waterford and East Lyme.
