Scarecrow Garden seeks support in Norwich

The Leffingwell House Museum in Norwich is inviting businesses to to be part of its annual Scarecrow Garden.

Any business or individual who donates $20 or more toward heating the museum this winter gets a personalized scarecrow in the garden and on its Facebook pages for the entire month of October.

“Our fragile historic artifacts and the 347-year-old building need to be heated during winter months to prevent damage to our collections,” the museum said in a release. “Your donation will support the preservation and survival of the Leffingwell House Museum collections and will enable us to continue to preserve and share Norwich History in the future.”

To contribute, mail your completed form, donation, business card and any other items to decorate your scarecrow to: Society of the Founders of Norwich, 71 East Town St., Norwich, CT 06360
