First dinner planned Saturday at New London’s Lighthouse Inn

New London ― The New London Maritime Society has arranged for a special dinner to be held Saturday at the Light House Inn.

It will mark the first dinner in the inn’s main dining room since it closed in 2008.

The 5:30 p.m. dinner will be held immediately following the Maritime Society’s sold out “Salute to the Lighthouse Inn“ fundraiser event.

The dinner menu combines favorite dishes from the Inn's past with glimpses of its culinary future.

Dinner reservations can be made by calling the inn at 860-709-7883. The cost is $75 per person with non-alcoholic beverages included. Space is limited.

This dinner is a special preview of what's to come at the Lighthouse Inn , located at 6 W. Guthrie Place. The inn plans on reopening the main dining room in late October. Saturday’s dinner is separate from the New London Maritime Society fundraiser.
