Town Hall treats
Stonington—Town Hall saw an invasion of tiny terrors, and princesses, and cowboys, and whatever else the students from the Stonington Community Center preschool wore for their renewed annual trick-or-treat outing through the town offices.
The tradition of the COMO preschoolers trick or treating at Town Hall dates back over a decade, according to COMO Education Director Priscilla Rouquayrol, who has been at the center for 10 years.
This is the first time the children have been at Town Hall since 2018. The trip was rained out in 2019 and Town Hall employees traveled to the center, and 2020 and 2021 were skipped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rouquayrol said the outing would not be possible without the strong support of the parents. This year was also the largest group the center took to Town Hall, around 40 students, as the preschool program added a classroom in 2020.
