‘Those People’ on screen at Connecticut College Thursday
New London ― Connecticut College will show The Day’s award-winning documentary, ‘Those People,’ about the New London Talent Show and the lives it changed, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1 in the Cummings Art Center.
The free event is hosted by the Anthropology Department in conjunction with the Holleran Center for Community Action and the Center for the Critical Study of Race and Ethnicity.
A reception will take place at 6 p.m., prior to the screening, in Evans Hall in the Cummings Art Center.
Film co-producers Peter Huoppi, The Day’s director of multimedia, and Curtis Goodwin, co-founder of the talent show, will conduct a question and answer session.
